Lion, Tigers and Bears!!

My new finds!!

After seeing a few girls on campus wearing the owl necklace, which I totally dug, I bought these two animal necklaces from Forever 21. I *love* F21's jewelry and accessories; they remind me very much of Korean accessories. Love love love. <333
I jump in it.... =)
I love elephant accessories. I have an elephant belt and Mr. T bought me two elephant pendants. Now I have another one. I was also thinking of buying this. Do you think it's too much???? (If you saw how many elephant stuff I have, you would be agog.)

That being said, is it just me or is Forever 21 using bloggers for inspiration? I mean, I was totally inspired by Indiana, especially all her elephant stuff (lucky girl), but doesn't this bracelet look similar to this? Or even the necklace I bought similar to this one? Or this one??

Regardless, I love Forever21 and I love all their accessories. To me, it's like they let the US market in on the secret of why a lot of Korean women are so stylish: cheap, but super cute accessories!! Love it. Mr. T always says most Asian women have a sense of style and I have to agree. I believe it starts with the accessories and the rest is just gravy.

Shoe Dilemma

These are the two shoes I bought today from Payless. Normally, I don't go there, but I noticed the plaid-coloured shoe whilst watching a commercial and they intrigued me. I like them a lot, and am trying to think of ways to wear them.

The other shoe was inspired by this post. I loved the way it looked on her.

I do, however, have a secret. These shoes are from the children section. That's right. The children's section. I have incredibly small feet. I wear a 4-4.5 ladies shoe. Normally, I am unable to buy shoes from the normal venues. That means, no women's Target flats that I want, no DSW shoes, unless they are some reject of a reject.

Because of the scarcity of my size, I cherish all my shoes. That said, the one domain where I am able to find an abundance of shoes is in the realm of children shoes. The problem that I have with children shoes is that they are very childish. Understandably so. Thus, when I see shoes that are adult-esque, I want to buy a couple.

Although these are from Payless, and I have shoes from Target, both great places for cheap shoes, I refuse to buy cheap high heel shoes; I truly believe they really screw up your feet. Flat shoes, on the other hand, have a little more leeway, which is why all of my cheap shoes are flats. But, wear them too much and they hurt your feet, too. I *do* pad the shoes, but it still hurts sometimes.

I only got two because it was BOGO and VA was having a tax-free weekend. I still thought they were kind of expensive, as they were $14 USD each, but as they are man-made materials, I felt they were worth only 10 bux. They also had this really cute brown flat with three buckles, but it was $25 USD!!! I can never justify spending that much money on plastic shoes, no matter how cute. Do people buy them??? They were also on the looser side, because going a side down was too tight and since this is not leather, they will not stretch much. I decided to put in shoe inserts and not only do they cushion, but they also make the shoes a better fit. I find Target's shoe size is bang on for me. Walmart and Payless are a little bit on the smaller. Mind you, these are children shoes. =)

On a *very* positive note, I popped by Goodwill and didn't buy anything! Yay! But, to be fair, 100% of it is because of my roommate. (Thank you!) Also, aside from the shoes, I spent money on essentials. I feel not buying at the Goodwill was a good start. Yay!!!
